🎮 Fortnite 4v4 Remote Tournament Rules

Senior Division: Ages 50+

1️⃣ General Overview

• Game Title: Fortnite (latest available version)

• Format: Squads (Teams of 4 players)

• Mode: Battle Royale

• Platform: Cross-platform (PC, console, mobile)

• Communication: Discord (or designated chat server) required

• Tournament Type: Private custom lobbies

• Age Requirement: All players must be 50 years or older

2️⃣ Eligibility & Registration

• Age Verification: All players must provide proof of age (e.g., ID with date of birth).

• Teams: 4 players per team. Optional 1 alternate/substitute, pre-registered.

• Team Captain: Responsible for:

  • Completing registration.

  • Communicating with tournament staff.

  • Submitting results.

• Epic IDs: Must be submitted accurately before the registration deadline.

3️⃣ Match Format & Scoring

• Rounds: 5 matches total.

• Scoring System:

• Eliminations: +1 point per elimination.

• Total Score: Sum of all match points.

4️⃣ Tiebreaker Procedures

If two or more teams end with the same total score:

1. Most 1st Place Finishes (Victory Royales).

2. Most Eliminations Across All Matches.

3. Highest Placement in the Final Match.

4. Sudden Death Tiebreaker: One additional match if still tied.

5️⃣ Match Procedures

• Lobby Access:

  • Match codes distributed 10 minutes prior to each match.

  • All players must join promptly.

• Substitutions:

  • Only pre-registered alternates may be used between matches.

  • No substitutions mid-match.

• Disconnects:

  • Matches will not be restarted for individual disconnects unless the entire server fails.

6️⃣ Conduct & Fair Play

• Cheating, use of exploits, or unauthorized software is strictly prohibited.

• Stream sniping or collusion with other teams will result in disqualification.

• All players must compete using their own Epic accounts.

• Respectful conduct is required at all times. No harassment, hate speech, or offensive behavior.

• Organizers reserve the right to remove any participant violating these standards.

7️⃣ Technical Requirements

• Stable internet connection required.

• All players must have Fortnite updated to the latest version.

• Microphones strongly recommended for team coordination.

• Use of Discord (or designated chat platform) is mandatory for announcements and support.

8️⃣ Reporting Results

• Team Captains: Must submit clear screenshots of placement and eliminations within 10 minutes of match completion.

• Scores will be reviewed and posted to the leaderboard after each round.

9️⃣ Prizes

• Prizes awarded to the Team Captain within 7 business days.

• Prizes are as advertised—no substitutions or cash equivalents.

• Evidence (screenshots or video) is required.

• Organizers’ decisions are final and binding.

1️⃣2️⃣ Participant Waivers

By registering for and participating in the Fortnite 4v4 Remote Tournament (Senior Division), each participant affirms and agrees to the following:

1. Age Confirmation
   I confirm that I am 50 years of age or older, and I have provided valid proof of age to the tournament organizers.

2. Assumption of Risk
   I acknowledge that participation in online gaming tournaments involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

   • Potential software or hardware failures

   • Internet connectivity issues

   • Exposure to online interactions with other participants

   • Mental or physical stress associated with extended gameplay
     I voluntarily assume all such risks.

3. Limitation of Liability
   I agree that the tournament organizers, sponsors, partners, and affiliates—including Blue DeVai Gaming—shall not be liable for any damages, losses, injuries, or claims arising out of my participation, including technical failures, disconnections, or any unforeseen incidents.

4. Code of Conduct Compliance
   I have read and understand the Code of Conduct. I agree to conduct myself respectfully and abide by all tournament rules. I understand that violation may result in disqualification without refund or recourse.

5. Use of Name and Likeness
   I grant permission to the organizers to use my name, gamer tag, team name, likeness, and any screenshots or video clips of tournament gameplay for promotional, marketing, or archival purposes without additional compensation.

6. Dispute Resolution
   I agree that all disputes arising out of the tournament will be resolved by the organizers in their sole discretion, and their decisions are final.

7. Agreement to Rules
   I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to all tournament rules and requirements.
